A Meditation: On Exodus 23:20-22 // The Angel Of God Walks With You //
by Matheus Yuhlung
‘”Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared. Pay careful attention to him and obey his voice; do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your transgression, for my name is in him. “But if you carefully obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries’ – Exodus 23:20-22
Fear is the occupation of the unholy. But if you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savoir; you’ve already been made holy through His righteousness. There are no longer any pre-existing conditions. The spirit in you would compel you to dwell in Him. And when you are in Him that who is the supreme authority over both heaven and earth; what power can touch you?
But it is the job of Satan to deceive you; and he’ll try by superimposing the fear of the consequences of your past sins and most importantly the guilt of wrong decisions. And when he does that I urge you show him the cross – the place where all your impending judgements have been hanged far-far away from you and rejoice and give glory to God for having saved you from such past.
Never let fear occupy the body that God calls it His temple. Whatever snares that may have been set before you; walk unhindered by doubt or fear because His angels walk with you. And as long as you are found in Him – no other power can have the strength to erect its tent in your heart.
March on dear brethren!
