A Meditation: On Psalm 90:14 // Satisfaction //

by Matheus Yuhlung

“O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days” – Psalm 90:14

Consider this: If I beg God early in the morning to satisfy my heart; it leaves no opportunity for my heart to go look for alternatives of Godly satisfaction from this fast decaying mortal world.

Meaning? My feet would be far away from all those paths that leads to sin. And since my heart is satisfied, I’m in a state of merriment all throughout the day.

Every morning when we wake up let us make it a practice to find contentment in Christ; for there is no other that can satisfy the heart like its maker can.
